Abstract

310,566. Aukland, E. Oct. 22, 1928. Rackets; handles. - In tennis and other rackets having adjustable weight means associated with the handle, the weight means are secured to a rearwardly projecting stem and located a certain distance rearwardly of the end of the handle. A threaded stem 8 projects from the racket handle 6, and the adjustment is effected either by securing the weight 9 along the stem or by screwing the stem into the handle. Supplementary weights 10 may be attached either to the sides of the frame as shown, or to the head of the frame. The handle may be made shorter than usual, and both the adjustable and the supplementary weights may be supplied for attachment to existing rackets.
