Wheels.-A drum for abrading or polishing wood floors &c. consists of sheets 1 of emery cloth, coated on one or both sides, of dished form spaced by members 2, and mounted on a cylinder 3 by means of flanges 4, 5, draw-rods 6, and screws 7. The sheets may be flat and inclined to the axis of the cylinder; rubber sheets treated with abrasive material may be used, and and sheets may be formed from a single piece or from several pieces. For polishing, the sheets may be of felt or cloth &c.
