The drum and the frame are carried within a cylindrical casing a having a conical lower portion a<2> extending to a baseplate a' and provided with a front opening s through which a collecting vessel t may be introduced to collect the cut material. The plate e can be raised on its rotating shaft and is coupled thereto by a slotted recess engaging a pin v on the shaft.
