Instantaneous generators.-Heat radiating walls 2 are arranged between steam 'generating tubes 1 connected to upper and lower headers 3, the tubes protecting the lower edges of the walls. The transverse dimensions of the walls 2 increase in the direction of gas flow to reduce the gas passage area.
