Abstract

304,553. Ferguson, A. J. June 1, 1928. Right to Patent relinquished. Packing biscuits.- Biscuits are packed in a drawer B made of corrugated or fluted paper or provided with a lining C of such paper, and the drawer is inserted in an outer shell or carton A having end-closing flaps E which are sealed after insertion of the drawer a covering of grease-proof paper is then secured around same and the package is finally covered around same and the package in finally covered with waxed paper. By these means the biscuits are kept air and water-tight and after being first opened the inner drawer can be returned to the shell and retained therein by reclosing the flaps of the outer shell. The drawer is provided with a finger opening D by which it may be withdrawn from the shell to obtain access to the biscuits.
