The rod 3 is secured in a boss 17 having arcuate arms 14 which guide the tubular member 2 into its aligned position as an extension of the dip-pipe A resilient member carried by a set-screw adjustably secured to the housing 7 bears on the end of the pivot pin 6 to ensure a gas tight joint between the pin and the housing. In a modification, the extension is carried by a forked lever pivoted in a casing secured to the hydraulic main.
