Abstract

303,597. Berry, H. H. Oct. 28, 1927. Wire resistances, mounted on flat surfaces.-A grooved support for spiral resistance wires is divided into a number of sections transversely to the grooves, which sections are assembled on longitudinal bolts. According to the invention projecting fins 3 are provided on or between the sections of such a support and are adapted to enter between the coils of the wires to prevent longitudinal displacement. The fins may be integral with the sections or may be inserts of mica or insulated metal clamped therebetween. Specification 241,379 is referred to.
