Abstract

302,262. Huye, J. G. Sept. 12, 1927. Knock-down boxes; joints between box bottoms and bodies.-The tubular body 3 of a knock-dawn box is provided at its lower edges with integral inwardly-directed flanges F and with outwardlydirected resilient tongues 1 which protrude beyond the outer faces of the body and engage beneath the edge of inwardly-folded locking flanges E provided on the bottom D when the body is inserted therein; the flanges F abut when the body is inserted in the bottom and spread the walls of the body against the bottom. The corners of the bottom may be provided with upstanding extensions 3 which enter slots 2 in the body portion to keep the parts snugly together.
