Abstract

297,663. Dudgeon, H. M. May 29, 1928. Bow and skate collectors for overhead conductors have collecting plates with hinged edges for riding over obstructions. The collector may be divided longitudinally and centrally, Fig. 1, with plates A mounted on bearings C, C<1> on the main shaft B and under the action of springs D, D'. The plates may be duplicated to form a double-faced collector. In a modification, Fig. 3, plates A<1>, A<2> are attached by hinges E to the main plate A and are engaged by springs D.
