Insulators. - Relates to an insulator which is built up of a number of elements 1, Fig. 1, connected to one another by bolts passing through flanges 5. According to the invention, resilient members, such as spring washers 2, Fig. 5, are interposed between the flanges to reduce the risk of breakage by bending-stresses applied suddenly to the insulator.
