Abstract

296,307. Weiller, P. L. Aug. 27, 1927, [Convention date]. Pistons.-In a radial-cylinder internal-combustion engine each cylinder and piston are cut away as at 1<a> and 11<1>, Fig. 3, so that the next cylinder end 2<1>, Fig. 2, may project into the first-mentioned cylinder. As a consequence the over-all dimensions of the engine is reduced. The second mentioned cylinder is also recessed as at 2<a> at its projecting part to accommodate the adjacent connecting rod.
