Locking nuts. - The separation of the parts C<1>, C<2> in the fastening device described in Specification 278,320 as modified according to Specification 285,427, [both in Class 79 (iii), Motor vehicles, Arrangement &c. of parts of], is prevented by a spring pawl 11 carried by the part C<2> and engaging a recess 14 in the threads of the part C'. The spring may be raised out of the recess by a special tool or key 17.
