Rolling tubes.-Tubes E are rolled on stationary mandrels B to reduce their external diameter and either to maintain or reduce their wall thickness. The tube may be rolled in one operation over two or more aligned stationary mandrels. The whole operation is effected at one heating of the work. Specifications 6639*/01 and 180,322 are referred to.
