Abstract

Dec. 17, 1926, Receiving-sets, construction of. -The anode resistance of a wire less set is mounted in such a way that the contact connected to th( anode is more highly insulatec from the pandor-like support thar is the terminal connected to the source of high-tension current For this purposes the resistance is mounted in a holder of insulat ing material having a base A to be secured to the panel, an upright B and a turned-over portion C. The portion C has a contact E to receive one end of the resistance and a terminal for connection to the valve. The base A carries a metal blade-spring D with an opening to receive the resistance and press it against the contact E, and the spring D is provided with a terminal to be connected to the source of high-tension current. The upright B is formed with a projection at the lower part of its back, whereby it can be attached to a panel if desired, the contact E being still further from the point of attachment to the panel than the spring D. In a modification, the upright B is replaced by an arched piece.
