Pressure gauges.-The Specification as open to inspection under Sect, 91 (3) (a) comprises an apparatus for giving warning when a predetermined pressure in the cylinder of an internalcombustion engine is reached or exceeded. A plunger 59 loaded by a spring 63, the pressure of which is adjustable by screwing the cover on to the casing 64 having a calibrated scale 76; the plunger, when lifted by the cylinder pressure, rotates, through a member 62, a pivoted lever 66 and causes detents 68, 69 to actuate toothed wheels 70, 71, the motion being indicated by coloured discs 74. 75. The teeth on the wheels 70, 71 are of different pitch, so that, if the pressure indicated on the scale 76 is reached, one wheel only rotates, but if this pressure is exceeded both wheels rotate. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
