Brake mechanism.-To permit the use of either a Calliper brake 4, Fig. 2, or a pull-on brake 5, Fig. 3, a cycle rim is formed with substantially parallel sides 1 and flat undersurfaces 3 separated by a central corrugation 2 of sufficient depth and width to occupy the space between the shoes of the brake 5. Specifications 182,604 and 220,834 [both in Class 144 (ii), Wheel tyres, Pneumatic &c.], are referred to.
