284,112. Muller & Baker Patents, Ltd., (Strickler, W. H.). April 21, 1927. Railways and tracks for recreation. - A track structure for a coaster railway comprises longitudinal girders 1 for the main rails 2 carried by cross-bars 7 and a longitudinal guides rail carried on supporting bars 11, 16 secured to the crossbars between the main rails. The guide rail comprises one or more members 13 on each side of the bars 16 and a top member 14 coacting with guide wheels 15 depending from the car 4. Lower cross-bars 12 may be secured to the lower ends of the supporting bars, or where the supports are placed between the cross-bars 7, braces 18 connect these lower ends to intermediate cross-bars 17. The girders 1 may be built up of layers of timber or of small sections 1<a> so that the track can be made to conform to curves both in a horizontal and a vertical direction, and can be inclined at these curves, as shown in Fig. 6.
