Refrigerators, domestic and like.-A refrigerator having walls packed with wood shavings is divided by a vertical partition 16 into a food compartment 17, and an ice compartment 18 having a freezing-chamber 22. The ice compartment is provided with a U-shaped strip panel 28 having a drain pipe, while the upper part of the food compartment is provided with a partition forming an air space between the ice and the food compartments. A thermometer 36 is placed in the door of the ice compartment.
