Ventilators. - A device for use in distributing air, as for instance in ventilating, comprises a series of thin smooth radiating partitions c<1> ... c<6> in the form of concentric funnels arranged so that the angle between adjacent partitions is 15‹ and the total angle of expansion is 165‹ and preferably 180‹. Adjacent funnels may be connected by brackets d and be provided with cylindrical extensions disposed in the channel a. The air may be delivered to either end of the device, and in the case when air enters the inner end, any dust in the air is precipitated.
