Mudguards rotating with wheels. - Flexible splash preventers are secured to wheels by a separate clamping ring 1 having rib and groove connections 6, 7 to the rim direct or to an annular base ring 8 secured to the rim by bolts 11. The rib is formed wedge shape with an inclined surface 10 so that on being secured by belts 3 the surfaces 9 parallel to the axis of the wheel are brought into close contact.
