Abstract

282,181. Parker, J. B. Sept. 29, 1926. Tread surfaces.-A tyre tread is formed with one or more rows of sharp-angled grooves b of Z or reversed Z shape with the parallel arms c, d arranged transversely of the tyre. Other grooves m, n, may be provided between the arms c, d, and one or more rows of spaced ribs h may be formed at each edge of the tread. As shown in Fig. 4, a circumferential groove k may be formed between the sets of Z-grooves.
