Abstract

237,825. Gillam, W. R., and Bonstein, R. J. Feb. 23, 1925. Tread projections and surfaces. - A rubber tyre is formed with opposed pairs of tread recesses 4, 5, 6, successive recesses at each side being of different transverse depth so as to produce a sinuous traction surface indicated by the broben lines 7. This tread formation may be applied to tyres having transverse holes arranged between the tread recesses.
