Boring-bars; reamers. - A boring or reaming - tool comprises a shell 1 having an enlargement 2 and provided with inclined grooves 3 which receive the cutters 5 which are adjusted and locked by means of coned nuts 8 screwing on to the shell. The ends of the shell are slotted to permit clamping on a mandrel by tapered nuts 12. The inclination of the grooves may be such that one revolution of the adjusting nuts corresponds to a definite scale change of tool diameter. To increase the range of adjustment, the shell may be provided with two or more series of cutter grooves of different depths.
