Plate, dish, and like racks.-A draining-rack for cups, plates, saucers, or the like consists of a vertical standard on which are fixed in rows a number of bent pieces of wire of which the ends are secured in the standard, and of which some 4, 4a are bent to form upwardly extending supports for inverted cups or the like, and others 5, 5<a>, 5<b> are arranged to form upright outwardly bent loops arranged parallel to each other and secured to horizontal rods 6, 6<a>, 7, 7<a> arranged at a distance apart to form a support for the edges uf the plates or saucers between the outwardly bent loops. The standard consists of side members 2<a>, 2<b> with cross members 3<a> - - 3<g> secured thereto. The cup supports may comprise a ring- like or spiral portion 4<a> and supporting-wires 4 the ends of which are fixed in the cross-members 3<a>, 3<b>, 3<c>. The plate supports consist of wire loops 5 having lower and upper horizontal portions 5<a>, 5<b> the ends being secured to the members 3<d> - - 3<g>. The loops a.re made of triangular formation the apices passing through wooden bars 6, 6<a>. The wires 5 also pass through second horizontal bars 7, 7<a >preferably positioned at the outer ends of the lower horizontal parts 5<a> of the loops 5. The outer member 5 of the row may be fastened to or bent to extend into the outer ends of the members 3<d >- - 3<g>. The structure may stand on the horizontal member of the lower rack, or may be secured to, or hung on, a wall. A carrying handle may be provided.
