Abstract

272,152. Muchka, J. June 7, 1926, [Convention date]. Heating air.-A heat. exchanger is composed of plate members, which can be slid out laterally, being loosely connected to one another by U-shaped edge-members. In the example, plates A constitute the main body of the exchanger, the edges being held by members C. Plates B, D are used to form the front and back of the exchanger. The plates are kept apart by reinforcing bars fitting in to the U-bends, the whole being secured by studs on the ends of the bars, which engage in holes in transverse strips.
