Abstract

271,563. Lutman, A., and Rowntree & Co., Ltd. Feb. 25, 1926. Rack-stands.-A portable folding display stand has three sides open at the near, the sides and front of the stand being either cut away or formed to provide supports for the displayed articles. A cardboard &c. sheet is cut or stamped to form slightly tapering sides 1, Fig. 1, connected by front portions 6, 7, which may receive advertisements &c. Articles or goods for display are placed in the cut-away portions of the stand. In a, modification, the sides of the stand are formed of bent wire 8, Fig. 3, connected by front plates 9. Supporting flaps 10 are hinged to the lower part of the stand. The wire at the lower part of the stand may be shaped so as to form supporting struts.
