Abstract

208,829. Lockie, A. C. Oct. 9, 1922. Card stands.-A show-card or display stand comprises a front 7 having an opening 8 at the rear of which is a three-sided rectangular openended collapsable receptacle 9 hinged to the front 7 at its upper and lower edges. The receptacle 9, the sides of which may be made by bending the parts cut out to form; the opening 8, is intended to hold a box &c. for display, an orifice 11 being preferably provided in the rear to facilitate ejection of the box. The card is supported by two hinged rear struts 12 which are held in extended positions by the receptacle 9 and can be collapsed therewith for storage. The opening 8 is preferably shaped to register with the outline of the displayed box, and may have a cover or flap of transparent material.
