Bodies.-In a road vehicle of the kind in which the floor comprises a longitudinal portion at each side which extends out to the body side and intermediate removable boards, the floor of a road vehicle comprises at each side a longitudinal portion 3 which extends out to the body side and which rests upon, but does not project substantially inside, the chassis members 2, these portions alone being adapted to support the seats, and one or more easily removable floor members filling in the intermediate space. The portions 3 are supported by the chassis members 2 and brackets 4 carried by the members 2 or by the running boards.
