Rotary mixers.-A concrete mixer comprises a rotating, inclined, pear-shaped drum, the upper end of which forms a charging opening, while the lower end is closed by a removable door sliding on an axially-arranged shaft. The drum 1, which may be conical, is mounted on, and driven by, rollers 11, 12, and may be charged by means of a hopper 15. The door 7 slides on a shaft 13 mounted in a nave 14. In a. modification the shaft 13 is supported by an outside bracket instead of the nave 14.
