Abstract
265,542. Aufermann, W., and Aufermann, W., (trading as Aufermann & S÷hne, C.). Feb. 2, 1926, [Convention date]. Clamps, eccentric; grips, sliding - wedge type. - Belt - buckles with a running crossbar guided by longitudinal side walls have the ends of the bar bent over on to the outer sides of the side walls. The bar h, Fig. 3. is guided in slots i in the walls b of the shield a and consists of a rolled-up metal strip circular at its centre and semi-circular at its ends and having heads o which also serve as handles for moving the bar. The shield has also a holding-plate c provided with a lever clamp d, f. The bar may consist of flat sheet metal with ends bent over and around the walls b, or of round, flat, or half-round wire with ends flattened-off and bent over. The walls b may have edges u, Fig. II, instead of slots, the edges being engaged by a bar v formed of sheet metal rolled to cylinder formation and with a free edge z engaging the belt, the bar having heads x. In this case, the edges u end in a projecting stop to prevent removal of the bar.
