Abstract

229,073. Matthew, R. J. Jan. 29, 1924. Clips, band.-A band clip for hose pipes &c. is formed from a strip 6 having near one end a wider portion 7, which is doubled upon itself to form a bifurcation 9 in which is revolubly mounted a cross-bar 10 carrying a screw 17. The narrow portion of the strip 6, which is provided with perforations 13, is doubled over a thrust-block 15 provided with a peg 14, which engages in one of the perforations 13, and with a recess 16 which registers with an adjacent perforation 13 and is engaged bv the end of the screw 17 after the narrow end of the strip has been passed through the slot 8.
