Abstract
265,519. Roberts, H. A. March 22, 1926. Thermo-electric batteries.- A battery, more particularly for use with wireless sets, consists of insulated rectangular plates A arranged in one or more straight rows in a holder, wires or strips B being cast to the plates and secured together so as to connect them in series. The plates are insulated by asbestos paper C. The holder consists of plates E spaced from the plates A by insulators e, and secured together by bolts e' fitted with springs e<2>. An elasticheating element D may be interposed at one end between two rows of elements, or the twisted wires at the end of a single row of plates may be heated by gas flames.
