Abstract

263,983. Bevins, J. M. Nov. 12, 1925. Card and like stands; stand heads.-A stand for supporting boxes, &c. in an inclined position is composed of a strip of sheet metal &c. bent to provide a base member e, an upstanding portion a, and a sloping portion b with a bent up lip d. The slope b is spaced from the portion a by a flat portion c and may be strengthened by bending over its edges. The lip d may be provided with an upstanding portion bearing an advertisement. The base a may be formed with extensions which can be bent to grip the head of a pedestal stand. In a modification the stand is formed of cardboard and is strengthened by connecting the lip d and base e by a length of gummed paper, tape etc. Specifications 6849/92 and 11109/97, [both in Class 3, Advertising &c.], are referred to.
