Lateral-splash guards.-A lateral-splash guard 5 for a motor or like vehicle comprises two parallel or almost parallel plates 6, 7 held in position with respect to each other by distance pieces 8, and suspended by a frame comprising rigid horizontal bars 1, 2 and slightly resilient vertical bars 3, 4. Longitudinal and vertical sections of the guard 5 are shown in Figs. 2 and 3 respectively. The bar 2 is secured to the axle, axle cap or other fixed part. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a modification in which the bar 1 is apparently connected by slightly resilient bars to a horizontal bar secured to the axle inside the wheel. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
