Abstract

262,987. Bloxam, A. G., (I. G. Farbenindustrie Akt.-Ges.). Feb. 11, 1926. Aromatic sulphamic acids are obtained by condensing aromatic amino compounds with amidosulphonic acid. Sulphamic acids from the following compounds are mentioned :-dehydrothiotoluidine, 5-nitro-2-anisidine, m : m<1>-dichlorbenzidine, m-aminoazotoluene, o-anisoloazo-1-naphthylamine, and o-phenetolazo-1-naphthylamine. Aromatic sulpho-nitrosaminic acids are obtained as sodium salts by treating the abovementioned sulphamic acids with nitrite and acid and neutralizing with caustic soda.
