Abstract

260,040. Killen, E. B. July 21, 1925. Non-pneumatic tyres cf different diameters side by side.-A multiple tyre fitment, particularly for use on heavy vehicles, comprises two or more non-inflated tyres 1, 2 one of which is of greater tread diameter than the other (or others) and of greater flexibility so that all loads are shared between the tyres. The tyres shown are of the kind described in Specification 240,204, though other forms of cushion tyre may be used. In a modification, the smaller tyre is of the ordinary solid band type.
