Abstract

259,558. Soc. Anon. pour l'Exploitation des ProcÚdes M. Leblanc-Vickers. Oct. 9, 1925, [Convention date]. Current motors.-A current motor has blades a, Fig. 4, rigidly connected to the shaft and of thin stream-line contour with small head resistance allowing of a normal running speed sufficiently great to cause the relative wind velocity to be always directed on to the same end of the blades and to form with the mean axis of the blade a relatively small angle. The directing channel h may be dispensed with. Instead of being straight, the blades a may be bent as shown in Fig. 3, and carried by hubs f<1>, f<2> secured to a shaft g. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a modification, Fig. 1 (Cancelled), wherein the blades a by means of links c and an eccentric d are given a moderate oscillating movement on their spindle b so that their main longitudinal axis deviates but slightly from the relative direction of flow w. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
