Abstract

253,250. Taylor, L. A. March 26, 1925. Springs, arrangement of and mounting bodies on.-The body of a motor vehicle is mounted on rubber blocks or other resilient members supported on members adjustably mounted on the chassis frame, the blocks &c. being adjustably compressed on the supporting members. As shown, the mounting comprises a rubber block 5 supporting a channel member 6 on the overhanging portion of the body 7, and supported on a plate 4 which is formed with a screw-threaded boss engaging the base of a cup-shaped part 3 carried by a plate 1 secured to the frame 2. The block 5 is adjustably compressed by a bolt 8.
