Abstract

252,623. Burk, J. Nov. 13, 1925. Sleeve couplings.-A connector for electric wires comprising a sleeve 2 that screws upon the end of several wires 1 is, so constructed that the ends of the wires projecting beyond the sleeve can be bent over and pressed against the end of the sleeve by a cap 3 of insulating material. The cap may be screwed upon the sleeve or may be of hard rubber having a contracted lon er edge that retains the cap in position. The upper and lower ends of the sleeve may be recessed. A metal ring or disc may be placed in the cap upon the wires, or the wires may be soldered.
