Abstract

248,194. Ellison, A. J. March 27, 1925. Hatching-appliances.-To moisten the air within an. incubator a closed water tank 7 is fitted in the hot air passage 3 and rests on an insulating pad 4 over the closed end of the inner hot gas passage 2 above the lamp 1. The tank 7 is provided with a vapour outlet pipe 12 which extends into the incubator within the hot air supply pipe 13. A filling pipe 14 extending nearly to the bottom of the tank 7 is fitted. The tank and the hot air supply passage are surrounded by an insulating jacket 11. The supply of water to the tank 7 or the. supply of vapour to the incubator may be controlled by a thermostat.
