Abstract

245,701. Candellero, A. Oct. 12, 1925. Wheels with non-supporting casings enclosing spokes.-For the protection of the spokes of a wheel near the hub, a coned disc 1, of the form shown, is threaded over the hub 3 and held in place against the spokes 4 by the hub cap 6; or, if the hub cap 6 is carried by an inner hub, the disc 1 is held in place by the same means as are used to mount the wheel. A rubber ring 5 is preferably fitted between the disc 1 and the roots of the spokes 4.
