Linings; ovens.-A gas oven comprises sides A, B each having nibs, snugs, ledges or the like H, I at the top and bottom which retain the linings F, G with interposed packing J, K, the whole forming a unit structure. The lining plate N of the back C is supported on nibs &c. M at the bottom only of the latter, ,and is formed with bent edges N' engaging the rear edges of the side linings, which thus retain the back lining in place. Instead of the sides and back being dished, as shown, to form spaces for the packing, they may be flat, and the top and bottom edges of the liners be bent over towards the sides and back respectively.
