Abstract

243,626. Johnson, F. A. L. June 8, 1925. Belt fastenings of the type in which the hooked ends of a connecting link 12 engage with crosspins 13 bearing in U-shaped strips 10 secured to the belt ends. The pins are formed with eccentric ribs 13<b>, with a single elongated central ribs, or with ribs at their outer ends, engaging with recesses 10<c> correspondingly placed in the strips 10. One end of a diameter of the rib coincides with the end of a diameter of the concentric part of the pin, and the pins are so placed in the strips 10 that their ribs engage the sides of the recesses 10<c> and prevent rotation of the pins.
