Abstract
242,954. Lyth, J. J. Nov. 17,1924, [Convention date]. Reels.-Guide, rollers for feeding cloth impregnated with corrosive or other liquids to winding- drums, reels, &c. are built up with separated spiders 11, 12, each formed in two or more parts bolted on the central shaft. The spokes 16 are connected in pairs by webs 17 and are shaped at their outer ends to grasp separate guide-blocks, gear-teeth, &c. 20, which are secured in position by bolts 24 connecting the spiders. By substituting bolts of different lengths, blocks 20 of varying size and shape may be built into the wheel.
