Joist floors with concrete filling; reinforcedconcrete walls.-The floor concrete is reinforced' by sheets of expanded metal A formed with ribs B and with the ends D bent up and resting on the flanges of the joists so that the main portion of the reinforcement is flush with or below the lower faces of the joists. Light meshwork E may be supported beneath the expanded metal. A similar construction is applicable to walls.
