Abstract
241,564. Tecalemit, Ltd., (Assignees of Soc. Anon. des Etablissements TÚcalÚmit). Oct. 14, 1924, [Convention date]. Single-acting suction valveless piston pumps ; reciprocating - cylinder pumps; suction reservoirs. - A lubricator comprises a container 1 and a piston 7 which carries a cylinder 5 adapted to slide on a discharge pipe 4 when the container 1 is pushed toward the coupling 13. During this movement the lubricant between the piston 7 and the top 2 of the container is compressed and the lubricant which enters the cylinder 5 through ports 9 is forced through the pipe 4 to the coupling 13. The container and piston 7 are returned by a spring 12. In the form shown in Fig. 3, the piston 7 carries a plunger 17 which enters the cylinder 15 on the downstroke of the container 1 and discharges the lubricant through the valved coupling 13.
