Abstract

The device is made from a suitable moulded material fitted to: Fig (1) bottle 'top' with collar attachment or Fig (2) directly to the top of the bottle neck. Fig (3) Having a number of apertures which allow normal outflow of liquid, whilst reducing the capability to contaminate the liquid with a pill or powder. The top of the device being larger than the bottom - to form a conical or bowl shape. Fig (4) Recessed on top, along the body and at the bottom to allow normal flow of liquid, when in use. The top of the device is larger than the top of the bottleneck - so as to become secure when fitted, without the aid of adhesives if required. Fig (5) when the device is attached to the bottle 'top' by means of a collar and placed on the top of the bottleneck - it will remain inside the bottle after detaching from the bottle 'top' and collar.

Claims (5)

  1. Page 2 Claims: 1. The device comprising a suitable moulded material which
has a larger aperture at the top than it has at the bottom - forming a conical or bowl shape. Fitted to the top of the bottleneck so as to prevent unwanted or harmful pill or powder contamination of the bottles contents. The device will allow normal flow of liquid.
  2. 2. The device as claimed in Claim 1, will reduce the risk of harmful or unwanted pill or powder contamination, as the size of the apertures make it difficult for a pill or powder to get through.
  3. 3. The device as claimed in Claim 2, when wet has a clogging reaction with powder being introduced to the device.
  4. 4. The device as claimed in Claim 2, will have aperture(s) of such a size(s) as to make it difficult to contaminate me contents of the bottle by inducing pill format.
  5. 5. The device as claimed in Claim 1, will allow a normal non-restricted flow of its liquid contents because of the aperture(s) size(s), the holes that are at the bottom of me device and the recesses along the top, bottom and body.
