Abstract

A Display Carousel with fixed lights 2 fitted to the rotating base unit for use as a 'visual' display and to illuminate objects fitted or placed upon the Carousel. In an alternative embodiment, the lamps swivel.

Description

THIS INVENTION RELATES TO A FREE STANDING ILLUMINATED DISPLAY CAROUSEL (F. S. I. D. C.
DATED 14"'SEPTEMBER 2000 Carousel's are seen as'Fair Ground Amusement Rides'.
Carousel means :-'Go around'-Turn Tables with motors'go around'. Therefore, what is different about a'Free Standing' illuminated'Display Carousel ?.
Display Units fitted within Stores are normally too big and difficult to be, if at all, flexible and do not always provide the best result, as required, for certain items being displayed.
The'Free Standing'illuminated'Display Carousel'gives you flexibility but also fixed lighting on the rotating Carousel Base which allows dual purpose usage, several type of (F. S. I. D. C. ) are considered for different needs for display purposes.
The'Free Standing illuminated Display Carousel'receives its illumination from a fitted transformer embedded within the rotation Carousel unit fed from the motor's power source. This also gives a wider range of low voltage lighting being able to be fitted to the'Display Carousel Rotating Base Unit'.
The (F. S. I. D. C. )'Free Standing illuminated Display Carousel'will have a maximum 150 Watt of lighting spread over as many low lights up to 150 Watt output, as required. However, it will allow the user to change fittings to suit the needs, or be bespoke in design. Hence, the flexibility.
DRA WING 1 Shows 5 fixed low light fittings embedded into the'Display Carousel Base'on the extreme outer perimeter rim.
DRA WING 2 DRA WING 2 Shows 3 fixed swivel eye ball low light fittings embedded within the area of the'Display Carousel Base'.
INVENTORS SIGNATURE Referring to Drawing 1 & 2 (1) The Carousel Basic Unit (2) Low Lights embedded into Base Unit (3) Transformer to run low lights (4) Motor to run Carousel Unit also to feed Low Light transformer (3) Power to run lights.

  1. I"T A CLAIMS 1. A'Free Standing Illuminated Display Carousel' (F. S. I. D. C. ) able to illuminate objects placed on Carousel by means of fixed Low Light fittings, which means lights rotate as the Carousel rotates.
  2. 2. A'Free Standing Illuminated Display Carousel' (F. S. I. D. C. ) as claimed in Claim 1 with swivel Low Light fittings for direct light focused on object/objects placed on the'Display Carousel'.
