Abstract

A wind resistant fence has panel frames 12 joined to post bases 11 by a coil spring 1, enabling the fence to deflect when subjected to high winds, and to spring back upright. The panels may comprise frames to which a skin 14, which may have a foliage - like design thereon, is fixed by studs.

Description

2364073 DEFLECTOR FENCE
DESCRIPTION
DEFLECTOR FENCE IS A SIX FOOT BY FOUR FOOT FRAME MADE OF U P V C.
COMPOUND.
DESIGNED TO MOVE FROM SIDE TO SIDE AND THUS DEFLECT WIND PRESSURE IN ANY GALE FORCE CONDITIONS AND IN TURN RETURN TO ITS NORMAL UP RIGHT POSITION.
A MALE AND FEMALE COUPULING IS ATTACHED INT THE TOP OF THE POSTAND IS SECURED WITH A LOCK BOLT.
INTO THE FEMALE SIDE OF THE COUPLING IS INSERTED A TWO INCH DIAMETER SPRING AND LOCKED INTO POSITION.
THE MALE END OF THE FRAME IS INSERTED INTO THE SPRING AND LOCKED TIGHT.
A PLASTIC MESH OF ARTIFICIAL FOLIAGE IS AFFIXED TO THE FRAME BY MOULDED PRESS STUDS,THUS PROVIDING A PRIVET EDGE EFFECT IDENTICAL TO A LIVE PRIVET AND OR ANY TYPE OF FOLIAGE REQUIRED.
THE PRODUCT CAN BE MANUFACTURED TO MANY DIFFERENT SIZES AND SHAPES TO SUIT CUSTOMERS REQUIREMENTS.
THE PRODUCT IS OF NONE PERISHABLE MATERIAL AND NEEDS NO MAINTENANCE.
IN ADDITION BECAUSE OF THE GROUND POST DESIGHNE NO DIGGING OR CONCRETING IS REQUIRED.
