Abstract

235,365. Setten, R. S. May 10, 1924. Inkstands.-In an inkbottle in which a float is adapted to close automatically an opening in a detachable cover, the seating c<4> for a ball float d is provided at the underside, of a rigid depending boss c<3> formed integral with the cover c. The cover may be screwed on to a boss a<3> on the bottle, or an annular projection on the cover may fit into the mouth of the bottle, a washer of leather &c. being provided. A concave recess a<4> in the bottom of the bottle allows the ball d to be depressed by a pen nib, or the interior of the bottle may be of smaller diameter at the bottom to prevent undue displacement of the ball.
